Overview
To better meet the needs of adult students, Regis University created the School for Professional Studies in the mid-1970s. Last year, more than 12,000 students completed courses through the School. Courses are offered in the evenings and through Internet technologies (distance education) in eight-week accelerated formats. Regis has been nationally recognized as a leader in providing adults with innovative, professional, and personalized education programs.

Regis University Graduate Programs serve approximately 5,500 nontraditional working adult students. Classes are offered in the evening, online, or through guided independent study formats. The average age of incoming students is 36. Most students bring more than ten years of work experience to the program. The overall breakdown of men to women varies by program of study, but it is approximately even.

Many pursue careers in business, computer information systems, counseling, or education. Graduates include systems engineers, database administrators, chief financial officers, marketing managers, human resources managers, trainers, licensed counselors, educators, nonprofit executive directors, and grant administrators.
